 SEA CROWN

The most beautiful and most difficult in all of Brazil

The most beautiful crossing in all of Brazil, Leme to Pontal, has a 36 km route starting at sea close to the Leme stone, in the southern region of the city of Rio de Janeiro. The arrival takes place on the sands of the Pontal beach, in the western region of the wonderful city.

It is the most famous LPSA swim, considered by the World Open Water Association (WOWSA) as the most popular long swim in South America.

Heading to Pontal: Copacabana, Ipanema, Leblon, Soa corrado, Pta do Arpoador, Barra da Tijuca, Reserva, Recreio dos bandeirantes and Pontal. If you got there you will win your sea crown.

Pontal stone, so close but so far.

When you can see the pontal stone from the water, you tend to believe that the battle has already been won. However, this enormous stone can deceive us and we will need even hours to step on the sand of the Pontal beach.

LPSA is the association that oversees this swim. To find out more and request a slot you must contact them directly.

If you decide to challenge the sea, may “The Christ” be with you.
